“No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.”
I found out about the tragic death of Robin Williams Monday evening while checking my Facebook account. I thought at first it was a joke, and it was only when I checked Wikipedia and other news channels that I knew it was for real.
Just over a week ago, I watched the movie Mrs. Doubtfire and it brought back a lot of good memories and laughs for me. I saw from that movie on how smart, creative and passionate Robin Williams was. If I had a top 100 list for movies, I can guarantee that Mrs. Doubtfire would be on the list.
Whether he was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, even Peter Pan, Robin Williams played every role with his passion and soul. Anyone who watched his movies can tell you that he knew how to touch every part of the human spirit.
The world has sadly lost a great actor, stand up comedian, film producer and screenwriter. My heart goes out to Robin Williams’ family, friends and anyone who loved watching him perform.
Thanks for the laughs Robin McLaurin Williams.
