Why are we so concerned with the type of car, the type of house, the designer clothes that we have? We know that as people, we are not just excited merely by the things we have. We most excited by being happy, and having a connection to something deeper. As you ponder this thought, here are some other things to ponder:
You breathe on average about 5 millions times a year.
You are born with 300 bones, by the time you are an adult you will have 206.
The average person spends 2 weeks of their lifetime waiting for the light to change from red to green.
111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321.
Earth is the only planet not named after a god.
It doesn’t matter how much money you earn, or how many albums Drake has sold. Life is way deeper than that. As long as you can feed yourself, travel where you need to travel and have shelter…. Life is way deeper than the material things we have.
Life is beautiful, you are blessed, and it’s a miracle that we even exist. Here are some other things to ponder:
You are impressed by money, but are you impressed by your soul and its beauty?
How can we live in harmony with the planet?
How come we don’t have equality?
What is reality?
Are we emotionally intelligent enough to create world peace?
What good are we doing for the planet?
It’s important to remember that our lives are not just defined by money and material things. Our lives are valuable and priceless. We need to focus more on things that will make us smile and allow us to be happy. Let’s never lose sight of that.
By remembering how precious life is, it will lead us to make the most of each day that comes to us.
Have a great week everyone!!
