Life Is Too Short To Be Unhappy!

As 2015 comes to a close, I think about what is the best set of words/advice to give someone.  There are so many things I can say.  The words that I feel are the best to say are the following:

“Life Is Too Short To Be Unhappy.”

Over the last two years, I have been more self aware of what makes me happy and appreciate life to the fullest.

  1. Be around people who motivate and inspire you
  2. Stay away from those who are negative and will try to drag you down with them.
  3. Do things that make you feel good about yourself and feel alive (i.e. exercise, travel, go to sporting events, hang with people you care about)
  4. Stop doing things that make you sad and uninspired to live (i.e. working at a job you hate, people trying to push their ideas on you)
  5. Always look to self develop and improve.
  6. Be a risk taker.  Do things that challenge you, and you’ll know that you’ll be better for it (e.g. learn to cook, take some education courses)

Many may say that this is so easy for me to say, as I have the confidence and right tools in place to do it.  They’re right.  I  do have advantages over many to do and go after anything that I want out of life.  However, many others have the same (or even more) tools at their disposal.  The difference between me and them is one thing:  ACTION.

We live in times that we feel that we are invincible and will live forever.  The reality is we are all on borrowed time.  We have a responsibility to ourselves and each other, to live the best life possible.

“Life Is Too Short To Be Unhappy.”

Have a great week ahead and be happy!

Cheers,
